A lovely example of Doultons Burslem Self Pouring Teapot manufactured in 1886 and designed and patented by John James Royle. The teapot body is transfer printed in pale blue/green with foliage against an ivory background. Pewter lid / plunger. Printed and impressed marks to base. Excellent condition, some discolouration from wear and tear.
